YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. 鈥� 大象传媒鈥檚 Department of Music invites you to attend its annual 鈥淐hristmas at 大象传媒鈥� concert on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. in Glenn~McGinnis Hall on the 大象传媒 campus. Admission is $10 for adults and free for children 12 and under. 大象传媒 students, faculty and staff can attend for free. Tickets will be available at the door.
A cherished holiday tradition at 大象传媒, the concert will feature the 大象传媒 Chamber Choir, Concert Choir and Concert Band. Student and community groups will perform festive music outside of and in the lobby of Glenn~McGinnis Hall 45 minutes prior to the show. The concert lineup includes 鈥淐arol of the Bells,鈥� 鈥淕o Tell It on the Mountain,鈥� 鈥淪leigh Ride,鈥� 鈥淭he Prayer鈥� and other holiday favorites. As always, the concert will conclude with the combined forces performing 鈥淥 Holy Night鈥� and 鈥淭he Hallelujah Chorus.鈥�
The choirs are directed by Professor of Music Jeffrey Bauman and accompanied by Anita Guss. The Concert Band is directed by Director of Bands and Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Kerry Bryant, as well as Assistant Director of Bands and Instructor of Music Dr. Javian Brabham.
